The 8.2.0 release of the Solver GUI introduces new V/L (vulnerability/lethality) capabilities.

The V/L capabilities will be presented at the Impetus Conference 2024 on June 17-19 2024, see the agenda here.

The video below shows the workflow of setting up and running a simple V/L case. It starts by importing the fragments from a warhead, investigating the fragment distribution and then setting up a scenario. In the scenario a number of targets are created and assigned damage models. The V/L simulation is run and post-processed.

This is to be considered as a technology preview, we have just scratched the surface of the features needed in a full-blown V/L system. However, we think we now have a solid, flexible framework that is ready to be extended to meet the variety of needs by different users.

We would love to get your feedback and your requests for what you would need in a V/L tool. We want to focus our development effort on the needs of our users, so input from you will help us plan for the right things.
