Licensing
Impetus Solver is licensed on an annual basis for a set number of license units.
Licensing of IMPETUS Solver is straight-forward. Select either Impetus BASIC or DEFENSE, then specify the number of license units needed.
Each license unit gives access to utilisation of 2GPUS with a load of maximum 10 concurrent simulations. The number of users within your organisation is unlimited and pre- and post-processing does not require a separate license.

Impetus BASIC license
Our Impetus BASIC package is intended for civilian engineering applications and the technical aspects of the license reflect this. It uses our Finite Element engine and has a node speed velocity cap of 500 m/s.
License units are leased on an annual basis. Each license unit allows for use of two GPUs and up to 10 concurrent simulations. There is no limit on the number of users in a system.
Impetus DEFENSE license
Our Impetus DEFENSE package is developed for defense applications involving extreme pressures and velocities. It provides access to all our computational engines without a velocity cap.
License units are leased on an annual basis. Each license unit allows for use of two GPUs and up to 10 concurrent simulations. There is no limit on the number of users in a system.
This license is subject to export control by Norwegian and Swedish authorities.
Impetus MARKET subscription
Access to Impetus MARKET is available to all Impetus BASIC and DEFENSE license-holders.
Licensing of individual objects on the platform is subject to a separate agreement documented upon registration.
Impetus BASIC users are restricted from accessing defense material such as projectiles, explosives, ballistics templates
Impetus CLOUD subscription
Impetus CLOUD is our high performance GPU computing service. It provides access to remote processing power, storage, backups and infrastructure hosted and operated at a secure location in Norway.
Access to and use of the Impetus CLOUD computing resources are subject to it’s own license and procedures.
A separate Terms of use and SLA is available on request.
